THE PRODUCTS, PACKAGING + INSPIRATION

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

We ship all orders by USPS or UPS. Orders will usually arrive within 2-8 days, depending on the shipping method and your location (we are located in Oregon). We usually ship by Ground or the most economical shipping option available. Please let us know if you have any specific shipping needs such as expedited shipping, a timeframe that you need your products to arrive within, shipping insurance, signature required, etc. and we will be happy to accomodate you (an increase in costs may incur for upgrades which the buyer would need to pay). 

Since we are a small business and we handcraft, package, and ship all products ourselves, it may take 2-3 days for your order to ship out after being placed. When your order ships, you will automatically receive a shipping confirmation and a tracking number.

ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING MATERIALS

We attempt to utilize as many environmentally friendly shipping materials as possible. This includes kraft cardboard boxes, green bubble wrap made from recycled plastic, and biodegradable and compostable packaing peans

SHIPPING ADDRESS

Please ensure that your correct address is entered at checkout. We are not responsible if your package doesn't arrive due to an incorrect address being entered when the order was placed online. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address being entered by the buyer, then the buyer will have the option to have the package restocked for a $5 fee or re-shipped at the buyers expense. If the actual shipping cost is greater than $5, then the buyer will be charged for the full and actual shipping cost when the item is re-shipped.

LOST + STOLEN PACKAGES

It is the customer's responsibility to provide a safe place for their package to be delivered to. Fawn Lily Botanica cannot be held liable for packages lost or damaged while in transit. We are responsible for packages while they are in our care, but have no control over them once they've been delivered to the Post Office or UPS. If a package shows as being successfully delivered, then we do not issue refunds or replacements (as a small company, we simply cannot afford to do so). Please note that, even when insurance is purchased, USPS and UPS do not issue refunds if a package is shown as being successfully delivered.

If the tracking number shows that your package was delivered, but you can't locate it, here are the next steps that you can take:

  1. Check behind any trees, bushes, etc. around your porch. Sometimes, the delivery person will place a package in a somewhat hidden area to deter theft.
  2. Check with neighbors to see if they accidentally received it. 
  3. Contact the shipping carrier and file a claim.

Unfortunately, theft is on the rise, and the best way to prevent it is by ensuring that your package has a safe place to be delivered to. This may include having it delivered to a business address (if you won't be home), ensuring that you're home for deliveries, having it delivered to a secure lockbox (UPS, USPS, and even some grocery stores offer these features), installing home video cameras, instructing delivery drivers to leave packages in a special (hidden) spot, etc. 

TEMPERATURES
Our products are natural and do not contain synthetic preservatives. As a result, they are more susceptible to fluctuations in temperature. Hot temperatures can cause some of the raw and unrefined oils that we use to go rancid more quickly and lip balms to melt. Very cold temperatures can cause plant butters and oils to become grainy due to the natural fats solidifying. If possible, it's best to avoid ordering and shipping during hot or cold weather spells.

If you order solid products, like lip or facial balms, and they arrive melted, then they can be resolidified by placing them into a refrigerator until they firm up again. This may affect their texture, but they should be fine otherwise.

Once you receive your product, it's best if you can store it in a dry, dark, and cool area out of direct sunlight.

DAMAGE, RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on opened products. Please let us know if you are unhappy with your products for any reason. We do offer a small selection of samples so that you can test some of our more expensive products before trying them.  Since we all have unique skin types and needs, not all products will be the best fit for everyone. Please keep this in mind as sometimes it takes some trial and error to find the very best skincare routine for your unique skin. 

Fawn Lily Botanica cannot be held responsible for damage which may occur during shipping, if a package is lost/misdelivered due to an incorrect address being entered at checkout, or stolen after delivery. Please ensure that your correct address is entered at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address being entered by the buyer, then the buyer will have the option to have the package restocked for a $5 fee or re-shipped at the buyers expense. If the actual shipping cost is greater than $5, then the buyer will be charged for the full and actual shipping cost when the item is re-shipped.

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible after placing it to request a cancellation. Once the order has been pulled and prepared for shipping, a 15% restocking fee may be applied and deducted from the refund.
